BEGINNER ROPE CLIMB | rope climb progressions & upper body strength training exercises | Human 2.0

Watch this BEGINNER ROPE CLIMB tutorial so you will know exactly how to do these rope climb progressions and upper body strength training exercises with proper technique. Today, Human 2.0 coach Dan Jones is teaching you this beginner rope climb tutorial and rope climb progressions, the options of which can be used as simple chin up and pull up progressions as well as progressions for the rope climb itself.

Bodyweight training is a great way to develop strength and it's easy and convenient because you don't usually need much if any gym equipment. For this though, you will need some kind of rope.

Working your way toward doing a full rope climb or chin up or pull up can be difficult, but by using these beginner rope climb options (rope climb progressions), you will develop overall upper body strength, core strength, body awareness, coordination, proprioception, and physical literacy skills to get you well on your way to the next step in your rope climb, pull up, or chin up journey. Even if your goal isn't to do a full rope climb, pull up, or chin up per se, doing these beginner rope climb progressions are good for so many other things, and can be done as exercises in and of themselves.

Incorporate these beginner rope climb progressions and upper body strength training exercises into your fitness routine today. Don't be afraid to give all three options a try! Remember to always work through a full range of motion, and with proper technique. Don't rush, and always be mindful when you do these exercises.
