KOBUDO D'OKINAWA AU 32EME FESTIVAL DES ARTS MARTIAUX

Le Kobudo d’Okinawa, rassemble des techniques de combat utilisant des outils agraires en remplacement des armes blanches, katanas, poignards, qui étaient interdits lors de l’invasion du Royaume des Ryu Kyu (Okinawa). Les entraînements étaient ainsi effectués en secret par les guerriers d’Okinawa pour transformer ces outils agraires en armes redoutables.

Fukyu no Kata is a fundamental bojutsu form created by Hanshi Kanei Katsuyoshi. It trains fundamental Bo (Kon) techniques and prepares for advanced kata, such as Shushi no Kon and Sakugawa no Kon.

In this DVD, the practitioner will be taught 6 traditional weapon forms (katas). All kata is performed facing the camera as well as to the side in order to offer a greater learning opportunity. Traditional Japanese Okinawan Kobudo

risingsunproductions.net persents Master instructors Brian Ricci and Frank Gaviola of the Zen Bei Butoku Kai learned these forms directly from Hanshi Richard Kim of the Butoku Kai. Richard Kim learnt them directly from Toyama Kanken and Hiroshi Kinjo at the end of WWII in Yokohama Japan. Both Gaviola and Ricci have won several national and international competitions with these forms done the traditional way.
